Again we bring you the latest update of the new HD titles on the market. This time, the dead HD DVD showed that it still has warm blood in it’s veins by releasing more titles than it’s rival, the Blu-ray.

HD DVD “I Am Legend” price cut to $18.99

Amazon.com this week price cut advanced orders for the HD DVD title I Am Legend to $18.99 in a promotion to sell one of the last releases for the obsolete format.

Sales for the Warner Bros.â€™ I Am Legend HD DVD / DVD Combo disc increased 173 percent on Wed. evening to rank as the No. 19 best-selling product in the Movies & TV division. The title carries a list price of $35.99. It will be released on Apr. 8. By comparison, the Blu-ray disc version sells for $24.99.

The advantage of the HD DVD version is in both HD DVD and DVD version of the film on the same disc, so you can watch the film on standard DVD player also.
