Other interesting titles include Dogma, I, Robot and the Independance Day, which is highly anticipated title for many HD owners out there. Statistics are telling us that this week Blu-ray family got bigger by 10 new titles and HD DVD got only 3 new titles, which is mighty fine figure for a dead HD format. HD DVD would be bigger by one more title, Jerry Seinfeld shaped “Bee Movie”, but since Dreamworks discontinued production of HD DVD titles and turned “blue”, we won’t see this film in HD soon.

Nothing new, Blu-ray is the winner again with seven new titles while HD DVD keeps to offer three new titles despite all those news about it’s discounting in very near future.

Although under heavy fire, HD DVD still manages to serve heavy punches. What do you say about it’s last offer: $80 for  X-Box 360 HD DVD player and 6 HD DVD movie titles?

We wrote already about add-on for X-Box 360 game console in HD FAQ and basically it is an external unit capable of reading HD DVD media. The best thing about it and the very reason why this is the most popular X-Box accessory is in it’s interface – it uses USB port which allows you to connect it not only to X-Box, but to PC and Mac and use it as a much cheaper substitute for internal HD DVD unit.

Heavy blows done by it rival, the Blu-ray disc, caused huge decrease in the prices for this product. So, in short time interval we have witnessed 199, 179 and 129  dollar offers and now the price is just $79,99 for the unit plus 6 HD DVD movies, which is a real bargain.

Unfortunately, this offer is no longer active since they are sold out, but I believe that we will soon see many more interesting offers with “Wow” prices.
